Skid Mark Analysis is based on Two Dimensional Transient Finite Difference computation with the determination of view factors at surface nodes.

What are the input data for Skid Mark Software?
  • Furnace Info: Furnace Type, No. of Zones. Zone Lengths
  • Part Information: Shape, Length, Width, Thickness, Gaps
  • Skid Data: Number of Skids, Dimensions, Separation, Material
  • Boundary Condition, Zone Setpoints and Furnace Temp Profile
Results from the Skid Mark Software
  • Temperature Output in a matrix form at desired time interval
  • Temperature Dither Output of the slab
  • Time (Distance) -Temperature plot of selected nodes
